1. Pursuant to the provisions of reference (a) Subject, hereinafter
referred to as Petitioner, filed enclosure (1) with this Board
requesting, in effect, that the applicable naval record be corrected
to show the issuance of agreements to extend enlistment.
2. The Board, consisting of Mr. Zsalman, Mr. George, and Mr. Ruskin,
reviewed Petitioner's allegations of error and injustice on
28 July 2014 and, pursuant to its regulations, determined that the
corrective action indicated below should be taken on the available
evidence of record. Documentary material considered by the Board
consisted of the enclosures, naval records, and applicable statutes,
reguiations and policies.
3. The Board, having reviewed all the facts of record pertaining to
Petitioner’s allegations of error and injustice, finds as follows:
a. Before applying to this Board, Petitioner exhausted all
administrative remedies availabie under existing law and regulations
within the Department of the Navy.
b. In correspondence attacned as enciosure (2) and (3), the
office having cognizance over the gubject matter addressed in
Ppetitioner’s application has commented to the effect that the request
has merit and warrants favorable action.
CONCLUSION
Upon review and consideration of all the evidence of record, and
especially in light of the contents of enclosure (2) and (3), the
Board finds the existence of an injustice warranting the following
corrective action.

RECOMMENDATION :
That Petitioner's naval record be corrected, where appropriate, to
show that:
a The Record of Discharge from the U.S, Naval Reserve
(Inactive) (NAVPERS 1070/6115}, executed on or about 13 March 2013, is
null and void.
bs The petitioner's reassignment to the Active Status Pool
{subsection of Individual Ready Reserve), effective on or about 12
February 2013, 4¢ null and void.
ce. The petitioner was administratively reassigned to Unit
Identification Code (UIC) 62375 =: Reserve Unit
Identification Code (UIC) 83798, effective on or about 12 February
2013.
dad. The Petitioner executed a 6 month agreement to extend
enlistment (NAVPERS 1070/6211), operative on OF about 14 March 2013.
e, The Petitioner executed a 6 month agreement to extend
enlistment (NAVPERS 1070/621}, operative on or about 14 September
2013.
f£. The Petitioner executed a 6 month agreement to extend
enlistment (NAVPERS 1070/621), operative on oF about 14 March 2014.
g. The Petitioner executed a 6 month agreement to extend
enlistment (NAVPERS 1070/621), operative on of about 14 September

2014. This will establish an Expiration of obligated Service (EOS) of
13 Mareh 2015. :
h. A copy of this Report of Proceedings will be filed in
petitioner’s naval record.
